It’s no secret that blogging can put you on the fast track to success. But how much you achieve out there on the Web depends on the amount of work you’re willing to put in.

Marissa Fuchs, 21, tries to get in about four posts a day. Brenton “Ace” Brown, 21, aims for about 25.

Fuchs launched her fashion blog last September, and Brown’s music blog is less than 2 months old, but the two friends have already received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback. It didn’t take long after meeting them to see why.

Tampa gangstress Khia spoke to HipHopDX this past Thursday (February 25th) and revealed what will likely come as a shock to fans of the self-crowned “Queen of the South”: that she will be dedicating the second disc of her upcoming double album, Motor Mouf/Khia Shamone, to the formal launching of her singing career, which will mark the official end of her career in Hip Hop.

“I sang before I rap,” she explained to DX of the origin of her career-altering decision. “I just rap because I can, I tell everybody [that]. This is my fourth album, and just to be able to showcase that side and to perform with my band, I’m just excited. I’m ready, [and] growing I guess.”

Really? Is this really happening now? *Dave Chapelle voice* Is this what’s hot in the streets? I don’t know about you, but I thought Khia was wack back then with that “My Neck, My Back” music and I still think she’s wack now. “I’mma show y’all the [work] ethic of a true artist,” Wayne says in the clip. “You know what I’m talkin’ about? Seven videos. I shot 10 in two days before. Now we about to do seven in one night. ['Runnin'] was one. Next we about to do Drake’s song called ‘Afrika Boombatta.’ ”
