At a press conference on the future site of the controversial Barclay’s Center this morning, Jay-Z announced that the New Jersey Nets will be renamed the Brooklyn Nets when they take over the building as their new home next year. He also says he’s going to be opening the venue with a special concert series which will begin with an inaugural show on September 28, 2012.
The homie Lyriciss, told me he’d be kicking a track my way to start off the week and here it is. “The Balance” is the title track from his upcoming album that is will include all new material from the DMV spitter. After hearing The Practice, and of course, this track, I’m looking forward to hearing this project.

Ah, so this is just a good day for music all around. The Maryland musician Kenton Dunson just released the visuals to a single, featuring Ryan Kellie from his latest project Creative Destruction 2. Within the next couple of months, Pheonix Is Burning will release a short film entitled Firestarter inspired by Kenton Dunson’s music and contains scenes previewed in the “Firestarter” music video.
Oh yeah, so my second music video EVER is here. Feels good to get some media out finally. As I wrap up The Brenton Brown Affair, I figured it was good-nature to give you all some visuals for one of my favorite tracks from The Wednesday Buzz series I did earlier this year.
